Two Mothers Foods is located in Naperville right on Route 59 and off of Diehl Rd.

They’re a fully functional cafe providing catering, school lunches, juice fasts and cleanses to the public at large. Their focus is to use the best quality food they can find, local when possible and as organic as possible.

Two Mothers Foods is a place for good food, that both tastes good and makes you feel good!

Simple Edge redesigned their website and built it into WordPress so that Christy Kabbani, the owner, could blog and update her own website. We also optimized her Google Places account and other Social Media Platforms. Christy was sending out emails via her hotmail account, and now she sends out professional e-blasts through Mail Chimp.

I had a client that wanted to show Related Pages in their sidebar, but they didn’t want it to be clunky like most of the plugins out there. They wanted to be able to choose which pages were listed as Related Pages. After searching for hours I finally found a FANTASTIC plugin!

So lets say that you have a list of documents that you would like to make available to your clients on your website, but you don’t want the general public to be able to access these files, what do you do?

A very simple way to protect files is to password protect a page. Password protecting a page is built right into wordpress!

Difficulty Level: EASY – WordPress User Level

Step 1 – Create your page.

Step 2 – Under the “Publish” Heading in the edit mode of your page you’ll see “Visibility: Public”. Click “edit”.

Step 3 – Change the Visibility setting to “Password Protected” and add a simple passcode to share with your clients.

Once you update the page with the password protection you’ll now see that the Visibility is “Password Protected”.

Now, when people access your site and they go to your “Secret Page” a password box will appear. Have your clients insert the passcode to access the page.

Once they enter the passcode, the page and its content will appear!

That was easy!

I recently was importing a developed website for a client from my development server to their iPowerWeb Hosting and I had trouble getting the database activated. The reason why is because iPowerWeb does not use the “localhost” that is most often found in hosting environments for WordPress.

Simple Fix!

In the Wp-config.php file, update the MySql Sever location (DB_HOST) to be YourIpowerwebUserName.ipowermysql.com

Nyberg & Cassioppi was having difficulty with ranking in Search Engines for the key terms of their business. They needed a new website design and a website built with Search Engine Optimization (SEO). We developed a beautiful custom WordPress website for WSEA Tutoring. WSEA Tutoring was a big fan of WordPress because they could easily update their own content. They frequently update their site so they can add new classes, and add information to their site. Also, the owners became really good at blogging. So they’d blog about tips on parenting and getting your kids prepped for school.

WSEA Tutoring received very positive reviews for their new look and their new website. Their email marketing has always had open rates way higher than their industry average.
